French Christmas lesson (with definite articles) - KS3
<p>This is a Christmas lesson I prepared for my Y7. Better if they’ve studied family members, “il y a” and “j’aime” and some numbers before.</p>
<p>The PowerPoint contains:</p>
<ul>
<li>a “connect the points” starter to recall numbers (1-42)</li>
<li>a vocab introduction (père, mère, soeur, frère, bébé, grand-mère, chien, livre de recettes, peluche, cravate, os, cadeaux)</li>
<li>a grammar point on definite articles (le/la/les/l’)</li>
<li>a listening task (fill in the gaps in the text) with recorded voice</li>
<li>a reading/translation (FR to EN) task</li>
<li>an extra game task (crosswords)</li>
<li>a 3 questions plenary</li>
<li>at least 1 extension task for each activity</li>
<li>answers and teacher’s note are on the PowerPoint</li>
<li>Arial (min. 28) and tinted slides for SEN</li>
<li>instructions in French and English</li>
</ul>
