<p>These slides can be used for Summer School or add on lessons within art and design. The there are 3 lessons taking you through some experimental pieces of art which are simple to follow and fun for the students completing them. Each activity can be extended so the lessons take twice as long, and there are student examples throughout the slides. The lessons teach students about the 7 elements of art, as well as experimenting with shape, form, line and pattern.</p> <ul> <li>Three lessons which could be used for Art and Design Summer School Activities</li> <li>18 Slides in the presentation for three+ lessons</li> <li>Ice Breaker activity where students learn about the elements of art and teacher has students chant them to a beat in class</li> <li>Activity 1 requiring paper, pencil and markers for 3D hand illusion, suitable for 6-12 year olds</li> <li>Activity 2 comprising of 3D experimental pieces using strips of coloured paper- examples of other student work</li> <li>Activity 3 collaberative work using pattern and form</li> <li>Colourful, fun slides with a pale yellow background to be dyslexia friendly</li> </ul>
