<p>A differentiated English plan for at least 14 days based on the book ‘The Enormous Crocodile’ by Roald Dahl. The plan is aimed at year 2 but could be adapted for other age groups. The plan includes the teaching of adjectives, synonyms, similes, writing an alternative ending to the story and also writing a new story about another animal.</p>

<p>Scavenger hunts to practice reading and spelling CVC words using Phase 2 and 3 phonics in a fun and engaging way. These activities involve blending and segementing words to read and write them.</p>
