KS3 Plant Biology Scheme of Work
This is a whole scheme of work of 15 lessons. They all include powerpoint presentations and worksheets for guidance for each of the practical activities. Money saved from selling this is going to go back to buying practical equipment for outdoor investigations. Will keep people updated :)

L01: Plant Classification (opportunity for outdoor activity)
I recommend investing in the field studies council's 'playing fields plant identification key' for L1 but the activity can be done without this too).
L02: Making a dichotomous key (opportunity for outdoor activity)
Worksheet of leaves is adapted from naturedetectives leaf identification sheet and is a free resource from them. Uploaded here for convenience. https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/leaf-identification-6123843 )
L03: Sampling techniques: theory lesson on quadrats and the process
L04: Sampling using quadrats (opportunity for outdoor activity)
L05: Capture Recapture Snail investigation (introduces the idea and the theory)
L05.5: Capture recapture lesson follow up (collecting snails and introducing formula and calculations for lower ability)
L05.5: Capture recapture lesson follow up (collecting snails and introducing formula and calculations for higher ability)
