This document focuses on one key moment (The terms of the loan) from the play, “The Merchant of Venice”. These three worksheets are created for 2nd or 3rd year Junior Cycle students (14/15-year-old students). They are  suitable for mixed ability classrooms as there are a variety of low and high order tasks. They can be assigned as an individual, paired, or group task. The worksheets can be used in any order. They focus on memory retrieval and repetition with the aim of supporting students’ long term memory retention of key quotes and observations.

This resource contains a a booklet with space for students to organise key information on six key moments from the film ‘Sing Street’. At the start of the booklet there are two pre-watching activities with a space for students to record their work. The rest of the booklet contains six empty graphic organisers for each key moment. Students can record information and observations under the relevant headings. These organisers work particularly well after watching the entire film. Teacher can subsequently go back, re-watch each key moment, and use the organisers to analyse the key moment in more detail. Suitable for mixed ability 2nd year / 3rd year students.
