<p>This summarises the key points to note when using the perfect tense in German. The initial step-by-step chart is to be completed as a whole-class activity, to ensure pupils remember all the rules. The translation activity can be whole-class, pairwork or individual. The table on p2 allows pupils to adapt the sentences from p1. I tend to do this as paired dice work.</p>
