A lesson which looks at the analysis of mark scheme expectations, to familiarise students with what is required of them, fully differentiated and includes exam question and a full model answer. Students could then sit their own equivalent of same question, having looked at the model.
<p>A post-read lesson on the use of subversion in Macbeth (supposing it is the first time they are being preseted with the word). Exam style question at the end to show they can cement the new term into an academic analysis and respone with mini model guide. Could work in groups and then feed back their explorations to class.</p>
<p>A KS3 or GCSE lesson exposing students to Valentine and encouraging them to consider how love is presented having analysed Duffy’s creation of images and use of techniques.</p>
This is an almost complete scheme of work I created for teaching The Hunger Games to KS3.<br />
Unfortunately we didn't quite make it to the end of the novel and it starts on the premise that you have completed a Chapter one reading lesson and introduced students to the idea of dystopian and utopian societies. <br />

For each chapter I have included links to the audio book and the PDF format to read from off the board. I have also included bronze, silver and gold differentiated starters for almost every lesson, as well as aspire and challenge LO's, with challenge tasks integrated as and when I can to stretch high achievers. <br />
