<p>The hot air balloon that I created for a ‘Get carried away with a book’ display gained lots of interest on Twitter. As a result, I have made a rough hot air balloon template made out of 4 A4 sheets to create your own display. Simply print, cut and stick the 4 templates together and back them onto a large piece of card. Choose your desired book covers and stick them within the lines. I have also attatched a stencil for the bottom of the balloon. Trace around this stencil on black card. Unfortunately, I cannot attatch the books I used due to copy right reasons.</p>

<p>‘I’ve finished, now what?’ cards for Lower Key Stage 2.<br /> Over 100 Literacy, Numeracy and SPAG challenge cards.<br /> Print, laminate and sort these cards into baskets that are accessible to the children once they’ve finished their work.</p>

<p>Resource includes a set of VIPERS reading prompts. The VIPER circles contain the reading domains but I have also attached the titles without these. Spare templates are included if you wish to add anymore questions. Use plastic cups to display the VIPERS prompts to use during guided or independent reading.</p>

<p>Useful for KS1 and KS2 to boost vocabulary. The synonyms can be used to describe character’s appearance, feelings and characteristics.<br /> This resource is presented in an A4 or A5 format so can be printed to suit your preferences.</p>

<p>The SPAG and Numeracy answer sheets can be stored with the challenge cards for children to mark themselves. The resource is free to download. I haven’t made an answer sheet for the English cards as these challenge cards don’t really have a right or wrong answer.</p>
