<p>Suitable for GCSE Chemistry or Combi Science Chemistry<br />
Written with the current AQA Spec in mind. Might be suitable for other sylabi too.</p>
<p>I have spent 8 years teaching a spirla curriculm where we teach atomic strucutre and PT history in very seperate different topics. However, I created a revision resources combining both which can be easily further adatped for different abilities. It is useful to compare the two History/ Timeline sections of the spec so I have combined them</p>
<p>Useful as Paper 1 revision or when actually teaching, could be used to introduce PT developemnets for example based on atomic model developments.</p>
<p>There is:<br />
Information card, pink box is to help show the chronolgy of the developements and how the link to each other<br />
Timeline with fill in the blanks, editable version avalible too (word file)<br />
Blank table for students to draw an image in</p>
<p>Please leave nice reviews :-) I have tried to only include free images from google</p>
Practice q's & guided answers relating to enthalpy of neutralisation, mainly aimed at OCR A AS Level, but useful for others and good consolidation to practicals. Also really useful revision for any A-Level student.
This is a resource designed with full differentiation and support, including an extension task, with a mixed ability Y7 group in mind. Fun context based lesson with minimal teacher effort. Feedback welcomed and appreciated <br />
<br />
Designed with Kerboodle Activate 1 in mind for the Physics: Sound topic<br />
<br />
Note: Pinnae is included as a test for the plural of pinna, children seemed to enjoy this one and seemed very pro saving the bats after this lesson
<p>A short summary of key terms for GCSE with visual prompts.</p>
<p>Written to directly match the AQA specification including required practicals 1-3</p>
<p>Higher and Separate Science topics highlighted clearly</p>
<p>Topics include:<br />
Early and current gas composition, fossil fuel formation, Environmental impacts in detail including Global Climate change, dimming, and other environmental issues and pollutants</p>
<p>Ideas to use:<br />
Provide to students free e.g. on Google classrooms<br />
Use in revision lessons to start off flash cards<br />
Can students make a mind map without looking<br />
Five minutes to revise then active testing e.g. Taboo game or Exam questions race</p>

I made this for a DIRT lesson for Y7 aimed at our more able students. Open to how you want to use it but gives students an idea of the effects chemicals have on the foetus. Also includes how the healthy placenta and umbilical cord function. Easy to print as 2 pages to 1 and get students to use in different ways
For two lessons, I also highly recommend searching for and downloading the 'selective breeding racehorse' cards<br />
<br />
These lessons were made with mixed ability Y8 in mind but easily adaptable, lots of opportunity for think-pair-share and discussion
Lesson on Van der Waals and permanent dipole forces, designed for a computer room but could be adapted for poster lesson etc<br />
AS Level Chemistry (with AQA) in mind
AQA RP4 - <br />
Teacher/ Tech sheet for a demo & practical with pupil instructions<br />
Planning sheet for the activity - pupils plan variables and afterwards follow the evaluation (may take another lesson or hmwk)<br />
Adapted from the Collins resources
Easy starter or plenary, I designed this with a Low Ability set in mind, but it is easily customisable and can be used either in small groups or as a class for verbal AfL<br />
Please feel free to adapt this resource as need be, I used if for example to introduce polymerisation reactions
This could be adapted either as an overview lesson, with a practical or as revision<br />
<br />
it does NOT cover endo/exo thermic / reversible and is geared towards AQA GCSE additional on the old spec
Written for our in-house SOW but easily adaptable - Y8 Microbes topic<br />
<br />
Opportunity for literacy and lots of interesting discussion, some youtube vid links included
Great KS3 starter/plenary activity, see if you students can calculate the true value of a donut burger, also suitable for KS4,5<br />
<br />
Nutrition, Healthy Lifestyle KS3
Aimed at AQA C3, lesson 2 - lesson explaining relative atomic, formula mass and moles including using the formula triangle. Includes practical prep sheet and student table for results with scaffold and a homework practice worksheet
