I have created a breakdown of all the National Curriculum objectives for maths in Y1 to Y6. We have used this as a working document throughout the year to mark off those children who have been taught and achieved the objective. Names can be inserted along the top of the excel sheet. Examples; Count in multiples of 2, 5 and 10s Count in multiples of 2 Count in multiples of 5 Count in multiples of 10 Read, write and compare to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit. Read numbers to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit. Write numbers to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit. Compare numbers to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit. I found that this was easier to show progression and highlight gaps as it’s broken the objective down into each part.
