Symmetry - 2D shapes
A simple PowerPoint explaining line symmetry.
I asked my students to practice folding a variety of 2D shapes. They used finger paint to decorate half of their shapes and print the pattern on the other half by folding and pressing.

This is a bundle of maths worksheets and activities aimed at developing students’ understanding of 2D shapes and their properties; such as small and big. The resources are developed with SEN and ASD students in mind’ using simple language and clear visual structure. It develops students’ visual discrimination, differentiation and comparative skills in order to support early shape, space and measure.
