A 6 week theme guide to the story with suggestions for follow-on activities. Written for my pupils in a special school, in key stage 3 but working on literacy levels P5- level 2

2 terms of lessons, devised for learners working on P scales, loosely based on termly topics (Fame, fashion, fortune, and Disasters &amp; Catastrophes). Themes include friendships, resolving conflict, self-esteem, managing anger, calming strategies, keeping safe in the home and the Green Cross Code. Ends with a survival week project, making shelters, purifying water, making alarms etc., raising funds for child disaster victims.

<p>PowerPoints of 4 massage stories which can be adapted to be sensory stories.<br /> Topics are Colours of the Rainbow, A Spring Walk, The Inquisitive Iguanadon and The Weather.</p>
