I use them as starters . can be folded in half and translate without help. then complete checking other side. then try reverse translation. To help memorise vocabulary

guess expressions where vowels have been removed, then practice by playing connect 4 or noughts and crosses (using only 9 squares )To make it more challenging they have to build longer sentences using the expressions and different topics
Grid to practice main verbs in different tenses, could be used in different ways, adjusted depending on needs. I use it to focus on different persons at a time. I use the empty grid to test at start of lessons to note progression.
I did this presentation on the week on Womens day, as a quick link between the topic we are doing on protests and Womens rights ( covered in y12)
We stared by watching the quick you tube clip twice and then they commented on what event whas going on/where/what they could see/etc
Then we looked at the vocabulary ( from slogans in placards and others you could hear)
Then they translated texts
