This is for my mixed ability year 9 class and goes with the Echo text book. We are going to do a display using this topic to practise the Perfect Tense.

This goes with Echo 1 Chapter 3 Module 4 and 5. Can be used as revision aid, or it supports writing activities. Describing hair, eyes, height and personality. Includes qualifiers, and verbs haben and sein.

After reading Biermanns short story of Herr Moritz we looked at Graffiti on the Berlin Wall. you need to go on Mauerkunst de and log on to get the pictures. The students then created their own piece of Wall Graffiti. I know they are year 13 but they did enjoy it...

Goes with BBC Clip 2001 uploaded already. Nice little scene at the doctor's and song practising body parts in the plural. The swimming pool scene at the end seems a little random, I will stop before that.

Just a paper copy of Ex 5 on page 49 in Expo 2 Rouge.

Just a written version of exercises 5 and 6 on page 99 to be used as worksheets, possibly homework.

Easy poem, includes grammar and dictionary work (nouns, adjectives), translation and creative writing task. Will use with my afternoon option group but it can be used at any stage.

I found a You Tube Clip (1.42 mins) which explains the Refomation in simple German. I created a transcipt, gap-text, and a choice of simple activities to use at your leisure. this could be done from a bright Y9 class upwards. I am going to create a few more resources to celebrate 500 years of Luther's Reformation in Germany.
