The CSSE (2008) is a standard level 11+ paper. This is a tailored resource to help students achieve grammar school places in the CSSE (consortium of selective schools in Essex).
These are worksheets to help with a question that has appeared in the 2008 CSSE past paper. (CSSE 2008 Q16) A question some previous grammar school students have found tricky.
This is the purchase of all versions of the worksheet.
Includes three levels of probability ‘out of’ puzzles; ‘easier’, ‘similar’ and ‘harder’ than the CSSE exam level question. 12 questions per level. The answers are included.
Whilst under copyright rules I would not be able to share the original CSSE 2008 maths paper questions, looking at easier versions of the questions helps students’ learn how to answer the questions and build their understanding and skills gradually.
I am a qualified secondary school mathematics teacher who has provided bespoke 11+ tuition and resources to help many students over the years achieve their grammar school places and academic scholarships. I’ve used cloned ‘easier’ worksheets to great success with my own students for over 13 years. Now sharing them here!
