5 Activities for Valentine's Day KS1

A cross curricular resource where children link their celebrations of Valentine’s Day with a range of topics and subjects.
There are 5 activity ideas in this resource:

1. Be my Valentine - a sheet where children trace over the dotted lines of the heart and the title and then colour in the sheet. This can then be used as a Valentine’s Day card.
2. A ready made colour card that children can cut out, assemble and make into a Valentine’s Day card to send.
3. Keep Love in your Heart Poster - children can use the colour poster to inspire them to make their own using the 2 hands black and white outline.
4. A colour poster of hearts filled with words or phrases. Children then have a heart template that they can use to make their own designs.
5. An activity sheet where children can colour in the 3 black and white flashcards to make them the same as the colour cartoon heart shaped characters. They can then cut and match the pictures.
