Teacher Instructions: You can copy and paste any of these slides into any presentation you wish or use the slides as a standalone resource. To make your selection, click on the relevant icon on slide 4. This will take you to your chosen interactive slide. Click on the spin button to start the selector and the stop button to stop it. You can reset the generator at any time to restart the process.

Pupil Instructions: Click on the icon to take you to the relevant slide. The Sum Generator will generate two numbers and (on some activities) one symbol. They must press ‘spin’ to start the selector and ‘stop’ to stop it spinning. They will have to calculate the sum as quickly as possible. I.e. if the generator lands on ‘2 x 2’ you have to give give the answer ‘4’. First person to put their hand up and give the correct answer is the winner!
