This presentation is one of a series of 12 that will cover every month of the year. It is designed for potential use as a starter or a plenary activity in KS3 History. There is also the potential to be used as providing meaningful work for a “cover” lesson as well as forming the basis for individual research homework tasks. The whole presentation can also be used as a “moving wallpaper” for departmental open evenings or corridor display. There is also potential use in tutorial sessions. For each day of the month the birth of a significant figure or organisation in history is described with hyperlinks throughout to enable easy navigation.
