Action & Adventure! :: Reading & Writing Lessons

There are four successive lessons which alternate between a reading and writing focus. The lessons follow a basic narrative which is based around the theme of Action & Adventure. Pupils are meant to engage with the narrative and display both creative writing and language analysis skills.

I have used this with top set Y7s and Y8. It could be adapted for higher ability pupils in Y9?
