This is lesson 7 of Aim C (Chromatography) of Unit 2 BTEC L3 applied science. I often get them to set up the chromatography at a lesson they have at the beginning of the day as it can take up to 4 hours for the solvent to run to the top. They then come back at lunch/the end of the day to remove and dry the chromatograms and spray with ninhydrin. Then we do the analysis and evaluation a different lesson before briefing the assignment. This lesson also contains and practical skills feedback sheet for both self/peer and teacher feedback
