Complete set of 12 required practical student record documents

Key benefits:

How students use the sheets:

1. Students quickly and intuitively record relevant required practical evidence into the record documents electronically (e.g. Google/MS Teams/drive/can be printed but not necessary).
2. It is clear what evidence needs to be provided.

How teachers mark:

1. Mark online and quickly, by completing the CPAC record table only. Only small CPAC sections within the sheet are teacher marked - these are easily identified with green font.
2. Other skills are included for students to practise, but the teacher does not need to mark these (these are not green).
3. To save time, the CPAC record table is already filled in with ‘g’ for pass (i.e. assume students have demonstrated the CPAC, unless the evidence shows otherwise). The ‘g’ can be deleted or changed. Annotations can be added.

Inspection:

1. The documents can easily be emailed to AQA for inspection.
2. When the AQA exam board inspected when we used this evidence base, the board were thoroughly happy with this approach (used with over 250 students per year)- we passed the inspection easily with very positive feedback.
