“Alphabet Tracing Bottle Fun” involves giving children, bottle-shaped letter templates—one for each letter of the alphabet—plus a blank bottle for their own custom letters.
By using a range of pencils, felt tip pens and (for laminated sheets) dry-erase markers, children can trace and re-trace letters, developing fine motor skills and improving handwriting.
Once complete, each child’s bottle can be displayed together on a classroom wall, creating a collaborative alphabet display.
This activity is ideal for Early Years, Key Stage 1, and children with Special Educational Needs, promoting letter formation and handwriting practice in a fun, hands-on way.
