This unit of work was taught as part of the cross curriculum topic, linked to Anglo-Saxons. The children studied Kandinsky as an artist before exploring the different palettes, creating their own Anglo-Saxon inspired helmets in style of Kandinsky using their chosen palette. They went onto explore the famous tapestry which they used to create their own images.
