WAF, RAF, APP, Level Desciptors.
I made a couple of slides last year which the students said were really helpful and clear to display whilst they were doing their work. As I'm on GTP next year I decided to make ALL WAF & RAF slides now to save me time during the year.
I used it with very high ability students so will differentiate wording for lower ability students soon.

I am really sorry to ask a silly question but what do the following acronyms stand for: APP, WAF, RAF, DIRT?

Assessing Pupil Progress (used to be how we graded ks3 levels by individual AFs -Assessment Focuses) WAF = writing assessment focus, RAF = reading assessment focus, DIRT = designated improvement and reflection time (students responding to the marking/grading) . Hope that helps.

Massively delayed reply as I didn't see this sorry. It was Assessing Pupil Progress which was how we had to grade/level KS3 work when I made the resource. WAF = Writing Assessment Focus, RAF = Reading Assessment Focus, DIRT = Designated Improvement and Response Time <br />

Empty reply does not make any sense for the end user
