This is what I call a teaching essay and it is very long!
I write detailed A03 points for students because I think the textbooks summarise the A03 too quickly. This means students learn superficially and ulimately it is harder to learn.
The idea is to explain A03 in detail , not for replication, students rarely need to cover the spectrum of A03 points listed here. But to facilitate deeper understanding of a topic. Moreover, although they dont use all the evaluations listed here they do have applicability to a range of other topics in AQA.
A01 is clearly outlined
A03 is covers an extremely broad spectrum of topics. Obviously one key piece of analysis for this topic is the non-experimental research that is common in attachment studies. for example,why it doesn’t show cause and effect. and why it is often the only methodology is attachment studies…
Also discussed in depth are: gender bias, cultural bias, social sensitivity, the social construction of love, plasticity and evolutionary theory.
A03 is clearly labelled with titles
The essay is structured logically demonstrating to students how to link points, which is part of the new AQA (2016) specification, e.g., holistic approach.
