This is an annotated and narrated powerpoint presentation for GCSE Biology and Trilogy to help next year’s Year 11 students catch up after Covid19. It covers the structure and function of the heart, its chambers, blood vessels and valves and moves on to why mammals have a double circulatory system. There is a maths problem to calculate heart output rate, using figures for stroke volume and heart rate. It has 5 multiple choice questions and a RAG sheet to assess knowledge and understanding and can be used without the narration in class and with it for revision purposes. It is fully editable.
