This pack contains a wide range of revision activities, based on careful analysis and breaking apart of the AQA GCSE Physics (Higher) specification. These resources could also obviously be used in non-revision lessons. I have broken the specification into three categories:
- Knowledge - Statements of fact or concepts which students are expected to know/understand
- Techniques - Stated in the spec as things “students should be able to…”. Not all of these are ‘skills’, but also things they may be asked to describe or explain, for example. These seem to be exam question clues.
- Calculations - Self explanatory
This pack contains the following resources, all based on specification points:
- Knowledge List - A list of required knowledge, copied from the AQA specification. This is in a deliberately ‘bland’ format - I would encourage my students to use this information to make their own revision materials.
- Knowledge Questions - 62 questions based on the above, using exam command words. There is also an answer sheet. The answers are based on the content and wording of the specification.
- Calculation Practice Questions - 17 questions, based on the equations and techniques covered in this topic. There are 100 different versions of the sheet, with random numerical values. This means that students can do lots of varied practice, and each student in your class can be given different questions (prevents copying!). Each sheet has a corresponding answer sheet, featuring exam tips as well as worked solutions.
- Technique Practice Questions - 40 questions, based on the “students should be able to…” techniques from the spec. There is an answer sheet, featuring exam tips as well as worked solutions.
I hope others find this resource useful, if you notice any errors please let me know.
Update:
- Corrected unit error in Q2 of the calculation sheets
- Added Foundation level resources (these are the same as above, but with HT/Physics only questions removed)

AQA GCSE Physics Revision - Full Course
A collection of resources to use for revision of all topics from the AQA GCSE Physics specification. Please see the individual resource pages for more detailed information on contents, but broadly speaking these resource packs contain: * Lists of required knowledge * Example short-answer questions and responses * Practice calculations and worked solutions * Practice techniques, e.g. drawing diagrams * Example long-answer application questions and responses All of these resources are based on an analysis of each individual specification point, and are designed to support students’ understanding and recall of the key content of the course. This pack would provide sufficent activities for at least 16-24 revision sessions (based on spending two or three per topic), or homework resources for an entire academic year.
AQA GCSE Physics Paper 2 Revision
A collection of resources to use for revision of the topics found on Paper 2 of the AQA GCSE Physics specification. Please see the individual resource pages for more detailed information on contents, but broadly speaking these resource packs contain: - Lists of required knowledge - Example short-answer questions and responses - Practice calculations and worked solutions - Practice techniques, e.g. drawing diagrams - Example long-answer application questions and responses All of these resources are based on an analysis of each individual specification point, and are designed to support students' understanding and recall of the key content of the course.

great resources
Well worth the money. There was much more in this pack than I thought and very well put together.
Well worth the money, a very nice review of the calculations involved in the forces topic. Also questions that provide a good test of the knowledge required by the forces topic.
