AQA Language Paper 2: Week 3 lessons - Qus 1 to 4

This is part 3 of a 5 week unit of work preparing students for their AQA Paper 2 English Language exam. A PowerPoint guiding teachers (and students) through all the activities is included as are all the handouts of extracts referred to. In this week students revisit all the skills required for questions 1 to 4. The lessons include: Further development of Question 4 skills using extracts from 'Henry Mayhew visits a prison' and 'Alex Cavendish goes back to prison'; An alternative Qu4 assessment exploring childhood; Assessment of Qus 1 to 4 using Bill Bryson's travel book and Dickens' travelogue; Question by question guidance for this assessment. An overview of the whole Unit of Work is included in the Week 1 resources which is available as a free resource. Other weeks can be purchased separately or are available as a bundle.
