This is the lesson PowerPoint for a silicone mould making lesson I have completed for the new AQA materials technical award that I am currently running with a year 9 group. I never write bad reviews, but really disappointed with this paid resource.6 slides (2 of which seem different to other power points and the rest the same)Does not explain in any detail how to create the mould. No visuals to help. Downloaded to help as a starting point to plan a resin project, but no further forward and £2 down.

Hello thank you for your honest feedback. Slide 5 gives 8 clear steps to make a silicone mould, which I placed on the students desks along with slide 6 that has the assessment criteria on for students to use for assessment for learning. My students found this very easy to follow. I also did a lesson previous to this where I showed my students lots of videos from You tube and demoed the process to them myself. I got them to make notes so they could apply this to their skill logs. My students make some fabulous moulds from this lesson. I took some great pictures of the moulds my students made I can access when I return to work that i'd be happy to share with you. This resource is best bought as part of the bundle which has everything I have made so far for this qualification. Thanks Claire
