A full PowerPoint lesson focusing on analysis of the poems "Neutral Tones" and "When We Two Parted" and drawing connections between them. Includes differentiated activities throughout, annotated exemplar responses, worksheets, examiner advice, an assessment point and engaging group learning
Unfortunately the resource turns tail and starts discussing two other poems within the cluster. Not Byron and Hardy but Browning and Shelley. Not good enough for £2.50. Disappointed.

Hi. I am sorry to hear your disappointment with the resource. The idea was that the model paragraph would focus on different poems as a guide for the students' independent writing on the poems they had been analysing in the lesson (in my experience, giving students a model using the poems they will be using only leads to copying or frustration that the teacher has taken the best points!). The other reason is to expose them to as many poems as possible so that they don't get caught in the trap of content (knowledge of poems) instead of skills (comparison). Again, apologies the resource was not what you expected.
