This lesson explores modern feminism and current affairs.
The lesson begins with a video introducing modern issues that women face, leading to a definition task of areas of tension amongst feminists today. A guided reading tasks explore current themes, allowing students to link the themes to the pictures/case studies. Finally a ‘perfect paragraph’ plenary allows students to plan and micro-write a response to a 25-mark essay question.
