Review lesson. Split the class into 4 groups. Spend 10 minutes at each table.

GROUP 1
Watch the video ANCIENT EGYPT
Print QR code on table for them to scan.
In your copy books record 5 primary and 5 secondary sources of information that may have taught historians about ancient Egypt.

GROUP 2
As a group, the children will read and discuss some flash cards with questions regarding primary and secondary sources. They record their ideas on the recording sheet. (Only print cards suitable for your class)

GROUP 3
Look at the image of the old-style rocking horse. Discuss the toy as group – looking at the design and how it works.

Ask the children to design their own modern rocking horse – they may include technology / electronics.

Describe and write 3 changes you made to the old design.

GROUP 4

Create your own primary source of information. Write a diary entry of the best day of your Winter holidays.
