A week’s worth of planning and worksheets to teach your Year 6 pupils how to master area and volume. These plans follow on directly from Block 5 Week 8 - also available in my shop. Pupils will learn how to reason and solve problems with the area of triangles; they will find the area of parallelograms; they will find the volume of solids and solve problems involving the volume of solids.
The resources are differentiated. They include plenty of fluency practice as well as reasoning and mastery.
Answers are provided. Editable versions of each PDF are included, created in Microsoft Word 2010.
All lessons will fit in with White Rose planning.
