Article 2 European Convention on Human Rights

Attached is a presentation that discusses Article 2.1 ECHR i.e. right to life. The PowerPoint discusses the states obligation to protect life and not to take life. Included are supporting cases and their relevant points of law. The presentation also considers 2.2 i.e. justified interference by the state and what constitutes necessary force. Included is a writing framework for students to use when applying a substantive examination question. A 10 mark exemplar is attached from the Human Rights AQA Specimen 1 Paper (although this may be useful for other examination boards such as OCR).
