Complete lesson- high challenge for KS3/ KS4 pupils on the Assassination of Franz Ferdinand- the spark which started WWI.
Goes with my lessons on Long Term Causes of WWI but can be used as a stand alone activity. Including the video and questions this would probably take two single lessons (1 hour each). However there are alternative tasks so could be done without the video in a shorter time. There are also extension tasks such as the newspaper task.
