The PowerPoint uses engaging images as prompts to guide pupils through the benefits and importance of reading, the lessons to be learned from famous novels, while also offering pupils the opportunity to discuss their favourite books. The script for the assembly is easy to follow, with corresponding slides for the PowerPoint labelled for ease.
Alternatively, a version of the powerpoint that combines the presentation and script is also included.
It is also interactive, allowing for audience participation.

Disappointing assembly. No real substance, mainly just images and a few quotes. Really surprised it has such good feedback. I would not purchase if I had the chance again.
Suitable for a whole school primary assembly, with humour and great quotes. Saved me so much time (and as I am planning this in the half term 'break' it's appreciated!) Definitely recommend.
Humorous presentation on the value of reading and the benefits to the derived from it. A variety of interesting visuals, quotes, references and analogies make for an entertaining assembly. I highly recommend this resource.
It's not often that I pay for resources on TES, but I was very happy with this purchase. I was looking for an idea for an assembly (on any theme of my choice) and came across this. It is a great PowerPoint resources (some of the images got a few sniggers from the group) and the script makes it easy to follow. Thanks for sharing!
