Attachment Issues (Pastoral CPD)

I am a Safeguarding and Attendance Specialist Leader of Education for a multi-academy Trust. As part of my role, I create resources to support Safeguarding, Pastoral and Attendance Leads within our schools.

These are Pastoral CPD training slides on attachment issues (16 slides in total).

The presentation encourages interaction and group discussion.

This resource will introduce your staff body to attachment theory’s central theme. The overall purpose of the training is to encourage staff to think more deeply about children’s lived experiences and to consider how potential attachment issues now influence their behaviour in school.
