A one-hour lesson to introduce the B3 chapter “Health and Disease”. This lesson investigates what it means to have good health and looks at the different causes of disease. There is an introduction to correlation and risk, with various activities to help understanding.
As with all my lessons in this unit, there is a “do now” starter slide, focusing students’ recall of recent, less recent and more distant learning.
This lesson is part of a bundle, which also includes the student booklet for the chapter - this includes all do-now tasks, class notes and activities with exam questions, mid and end of chapter assessments, which then reduces planning and printing for the entire chapter.
