An overview of the Lesson
A complete fun, colourful and interactive PowerPoint lesson which follows the PPP lesson method (Presentation, Practice, Production) includes;
• Proper greetings at the beginning and end of the lesson.
• How are you today? – Practice words about feelings (sad, happy, tired etc.).
• How is the weather today? – Practice words about weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy)
• Practice Days of the Week – What day is it today?
• Graphical Lexis introduction of five orange things (carrot, pumpkin, orange, goldfish, tiger).
• Easy reading picture sentences (Example, “The ball is orange; The car is orange” etc.).
• Play a Number / Word Match game - Match the numbers from 1 to 10 to the correct word.
• Learn to count from the orange things from 1 – 10.
• Show and Tell (The student gets to show the teacher their orange things)
• Play a game – (Find the goldfish in the pond. Battleships style game)
• Links to related songs on YouTube
