Objective: Reinforce phonics and early literacy skills by identifying, tracing, and writing words that begin with the letter “B.”
Resource Components:
Short Story: Read the story and have children find and underline words starting with “b.” Next children can colour in the 4 pictures of the story and cut and sequence.
Activity Sheets:
Sheet 1: Colour Picture Sheet
o Includes images of bunny, banana, bath, bird, balloon, butterfly, bus, book, and bee.
o Children write the “b” words under each picture.
Sheet 2: Black and White Picture Sheet
o Same images as Sheet 1 in black and white.
o Children write the “b” words under each picture.
Sheet 3: Traceable Sheet
o Same images as Sheet 2 with “b” words in dotted form.
o Children trace the words.
