This assembly is based on this year’s theme- reclaiming the Narrative as well as highlighting how easily false narratives have spread.

Examines the role of racial bias in the media and politics in the UK and the riots of 2024 as well as the insideous nature of the anti-Haitian rhetoric from some in the USA.

Idea is to promote awareness of the danger of misinformation and to encourage students to challenge one sided narratives especially if they are hateful.

Includes a house competition which can be amended for your school and a script for the assembly if you need it.

Images are for illustrative purposes only. Includes a fully editable powerpoint and word document.

Excellent way to explain to students what Black History month is and also explain the issues in the UK this summer
