These emergent reader books are perfect for your students to take part in Black History Month and learn about all the amazing people in the following areas;
• Authors
• Civil Rights Men
• Civil Rights Woman
• Inventors
• Jazz Artists - Men
• Jazz Artists - Women
• Notable People

These books allow your students to learn about the different famous people in Black History. Each book contains pages with the famous person and their name underneath. Students can color in the images and then overwrite the names of the people underneath.

This is a great way for your students to work on their reading, writing and fine motor skills. While also learning all about famous black men and women.

This resource is suitable for both spellings; colour/color etc.

The book comes in b/w for ink friendly printing. I recommend putting the books together with staples - or by binding - so that your students can flick through each of their books easily.

I couldn't download the booklets. They opened as blank pages.
