Blood Brothers lesson that explores how social class is presented in part of Act One: We look at how the policeman addresses Mr Lyons and Mrs Johnstone and how his use of language reflects his social prejudices, before we go on to create detailed analytical paragraphs based on class notes and scaffolds. A really useful lesson for students preparing for AQA English Literature Paper 2 and other exam boards like EDUQAS, WJEC, Edexcel, OCR and more as we study Willy Russell’s fantastic play.
