Body Parts Initial Letter Matching

These initial letter task cards are a fun addition to your body unit to continue learning with your students. Your students will love learning about the different parts of their body, while also working on their initial letter and sounds skills.

Each task card contains a different body part with a word prompt underneath. But, the first letter of the word is missing! Students have to sound out the body part they see, work out the initial letter and choose it from a choice of 3 possibilities on the right hand side of the task card.

This is a fun and engaging way for your students to continue working on body part recognition skills in a hands-on way. To make this activity work on your students fine motor skills too - use clothing pegs for students to choose their answers.
These puzzles will be a great addition to your body unit and a fun way for your students to work on their initial letter recognition skills.
