The resource is a 20 page booklet which takes students through the both Activities 4 & 5 (structure testing and structure evaluation). Students will need access to Microsoft Access. By following the booklet, they will be able to complete Part A, Activities 4&5 of the Unit 2 Controlled Assessment.

Also, it is to be expected that a booklet covering Activities 4 and 5 will build on previous practice - which I did in this series of booklets. Look at any exam paper: Activity 4 asks for "table level testing that proves" the exact same bullet points from Activity 2. I'm looking at the January 2023 Martlepool LFC paper right now, and both lists end with "a record for player statistics will not save without a valid position". Also, Activity 5 builds on the structure and validation achieved by the student in Activities 1 and 2. Referring to previous practice is therefore essential to give the students an experience that is related to how the exam works.
