BTEC Sport L3 Unit 3 LA:C Recruitment & Interviews

A BTEC Sport Level 3* Unit 3 Professional Development in the Sports Industry Learning Aim C* resources that focus on examining how to access the recruitment process in the Sports Industry. The lesson explores the roles of both the employer and interviewee. How to create job adverts, effective CV’s and then assessing the suitability of the role.

This resource is created with a Big Question and So What (context hook) in mind. I have used a TEEP planning cycle to structure the Power Point led lesson to include a Prepare to Learn (outside thinking task or activity), clear Learning Intents, New Information, Application of Knowledge tasks and then a Review.

As always with my resources I try to engage the students thinking by using real world examples, pictures and current news items to help them to make links and think outside of the topic.

This lesson could easily be adapted to suit younger years and I have tried to offer easy to see ways to differentiate the learning by outcome, reflection or extended thinking.
