ByteEd Unplugged Computational Thinking Resource: Hansel & Gretel theme

Students work though hands on activities to create sequential algorithms to direct ByteEd Hansel & Gretel through the woods to escape the witch!

Students are introduced to Computational Thinking concepts of:

Sequencial instructions
Algorithms
Decomposition, and,
Debugging

Differentiated tasks for each activity - creating algorithms for the most efficient and fastest route, Collecting sweet treats (while staying away from the witch, the cauldron & the witches cat - they are obstacles to avoid!) and taking them home to their log cabin.
