Calculate Travelling Distance

This visual, fun resource gives students an opportunity to calculate the distance travelled. You can amend this resource to change the destinations so that they match your current theme and/ or change the distance to metres. The distance could also be differentiated based on the ability e.g. smaller numbers for lower ability. To challenge your highers, you could include a mixture of metres and km so that pupils have to covert measurements to work out the answers. There are also some questions that you could ask your pupils.
