Can you achieve the Decathlon WR?
Based on Kevin Mayer achieving 9126 points in September 2018. I have put together 10 questions based on the Edexcel Yr2 Mechanics syllabus.
Using skills such as: suvat equations, Moments, Friction, Projectiles, Application of forces and Further Kinematics.
Answer each question to get the correct time/distance/height that Mayer achieved. Writing them on the answer cards and handing them to the teacher before moving onto the next event. Some questions involve showing proofs, where students should include each stage.
Once complete, students convert to points (using the formulae and tables) add them up together to get the magic 9126.
