This lesson supports the teaching of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. It looks in detail into two prayers clebrated during Mass - ‘Holy Holy’ and ‘Memorial Acclamation’.
The lesson uses VIPERs to support with understanding and teaching about the meaning behind the words in the prayers and the pupils annotate the prayers throughout. The tasks for the pupils to complete are differentiated to scaffold and challenge the pupils in the class.
I specialise in KS2. Therefore, please check out my other resources, mainly linked to the core subjects; Maths and English as well as RE - focusing on the Catholic faith.
